Wellness - it's more than just food!

In 2014, two things happened that forever changed the way I do life! The first thing was an order from my husband's doctor for him to lose weight. We immediately changed our diet and both of us lost quite a bit of weight.  I am glad to say that in 6 months, I went from size 18 jeans to size 12!  I was thrilled with the change!  

I had given up bread (which I love!!!) and started eating green veggies.  I always thought I was doing OK with my food choices because I ate corn, carrots, and potatoes!  I soon found that although those are veggies, they are high in starch and need to be switched out with green beans, cucumbers, asparagus, cauliflower, etc.  However, I found that even with healthier eating habits, I still had some wellness needs that were not being met. 

For me, it was mainly digestive support that I needed.   My system was slow, and I had heartburn as soon as I lay down at night.  I was taking over the counter remedies, but was uncomfortable with the side effects that I had heard about.  I needed something that would support my digestive system without causing other problems!  

That  search led me to the second life changing event.  I found that by making some minor adjustments to my daily routine, I could provide better support for all of my body systems!  It didn't take long before I found that my digestive system was working  the way it was designed to work, and I could sleep without the  discomfort of heartburn!  And without the nasty side effects that can  come from taking OTC remedies!

I now have a mission to teach others how wellness can be as easy as making a few simple lifestyle changes.  There is so much more to  wellness than just your food choices or your jeans size!

Now that I have 5 grandchildren, it's more important than ever to keep myself in good health.  I love being able to get down on the floor and put train tracks together, or go for long walks on the Pennsylvania mountainside.

Meet Melissa


I have always been one of those people who gets sick a lot. At least to me it seemed like a lot. I would get a cold that would start in October / November and last through March / April. I would have a few days - maybe a week if I was lucky - off and on during this time but for the most part I had coughing, sneezing and a sore throat the whole time. I was also getting tonsillitis and sinus drainage every year!

Things started to change in 2016 when my sister introduced me to some amazing wellness products she was using. I was skeptical, so I started slowly with just a few products every month or two. It didn't take long before I noticed I wasn’t getting as sick as I usually did. When I did experience a dip in my wellness level, it was much less severe than usual, and was gone quickly!

In 2019 I decided to be more proactive in my approach to wellness. At the very first signs of feeling 'off' I started using specific things to support specific body systems. This was a real turning point for me. I am totally sold on these amazing products because I have seen the difference they make in my life. I am healthier than ever - even my teeth are healthier! 

The next thing on my wellness agenda is to lose weight. I look forward to seeing how these natural products can help me with this.
