Read labels carefully and opt for organic, grass-fed, and pasture-raised options when possible.  I find it a good idea to shop around the outside edges of the store and stay out of the aisles as much as possible.

Dining Out and Social Situations: Don't let dining out derail your Paleo journey! Look for grilled meats, salads with olive oil dressing, and veggie-packed dishes on restaurant menus. Don't be afraid to ask for substitutions or modifications to fit your Paleo lifestyle.

Stay motivated by finding what works for you, staying committed to nourishing your body with wholesome foods, and celebrating your progress along the way.  I found that having a few recipes for snacks that I really like keeps me from missing the unhealthy snacks I am leaving behind.
